Summer Update

Since posting my blog about Not Enough Summers have received quite a few comments like "Aren't you suppose to be working on you business?" and "Why do people blog?". My response is I AM WORKING!

I guess the benefits of blogging are not so obvious. When a friend recently asked me "What is the big deal about blogging? What purpose does it serve?" My immediate response was "Search Engine Optimization" or in layman's words "Improving your visibility on the web because Google loves blogs". And does Google and the search engines love blogs? Because it is current, updatable content. So there are really many reasons to blog - like it is fun - it makes you think - it provides a venue for you to express your opinion, etc.

There are many blogging softwares available but for the starter I like Google's blogger (www.blogger.com). I am sure you notice that is what I am using. You should try it.
